Introducing Data Privacy University!

Posted by

Welcome to Data Privacy University, a crash course in one of the most complex aspects of the modern web – Data Privacy!

Personal Data Privacy can be complex and difficult to understand, but it should not have to be. It is our job to break down these concepts into bite size pieces in order for you to understand data privacy. We have an ongoing series of blogs, articles, and videos surrounding data privacy. We will start at a very basic level and build upon each concept leading to a final exam in a few months! Anyone that takes the final and scores 90% or better will be entered into a raffle for Rownd Swag and a $100 Starbucks gift card, so study up!

So, What’s The Deal?

Our goal is to create a well-rownded understanding of what data is, why privacy is important, how data is gathered, and how to protect it. By explaining these seemingly complicated elements of data privacy, we will get you to a place of thorough understanding. We don’t want to make these concepts perplexing in any way. We want you to walk away from these modules feeling educated and ready to take on the data privacy world!

“Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.”

Malcolm X

We must equip ourselves with as much information about protecting our own privacy as possible today so that we can advocate for ourselves when we need to. Your data privacy is of the utmost importance to us and we want to make sure you know how to best safeguard your personal information and data.

As we had mentioned before, we will be walking through a series of broken down modules to get you to a place of complete understanding. We really hope you enjoy browsing through this content and learning a thing or two. Happy studying!
